I lucked out with that boss fight. I got Catherina to punch out a massive chunk of heath out of it at the start of it.

I have one core memory from this game as a kid. Through pure dumb child magic, I managed to get the Ultimate, Phoenixmon. I was so hyped I finally got something that was not poop. I charged into any fight I could. I was winning, it was great!... Then my magical bird died and I gave up...
