with more precise measurements so the wheel on top can make a full revolution, one could do some fun stuff with this. ballroom for paper dolls? orrery? idk.
just needed to see if it was possible. who knows if i'll ever come back to this—it's not a particularly practical design.

i suspect there are many social tensions that could be mitigated if the treachery of images was better and more widely understood—that is, if it was more widely recognized that all representations are abstractions and even the most literal "meaning" discerned in a representation is a projection.

it surprises me a bit that this nudnik is advocating *middle* english and not *old* english, especially given the complaint about "foreign" letters and spellings.
OE wouldn't resolve that contradiction of course, but 1066 sure did insert a lot of french. typical fash consistency i suppose.
