there is something quite close to unanimity among serious scholars on this point, but the Washington Post omits that in favor of highlighting one such scholar's donations to Democratic candidates

지적하신 의미로 쓰였다는 게 틀린 말씀은 아닌데 2023~24년 들어 쓰이는 예시는 웬만해선 기사에 소개 된 내용, 옥스포드가 사용한 정의, 특히 인터넷에서는 특정 밈 장르를 통칭하는 의미로 쓰이는 경우가 압도적으로 많다고 생각해요.

Urban Dictionary보다도 구글이나 유튭에 올해 올라온 (옥스포드 선정 전까지) 검색결과를 훑어보면 확 와닿을 거에요.
