We certainly DO need Congress elects who'll hold the line, but long-term we really, REALLY, need to end massive private donations - Congress reps cater to donors because sometimes donors will campaign-fund them out of office if they don't (hello AIPAC 😶🔪💢), and its compromised our democracy

It was, and i can't help but notice this happened RIGHT after a massive wave washed away a Republican victory - it highkey looks like the Dem. Party caters to rich donors just as much as the other guys and they'll drop the shield for citizen needs as soon as they think their position is secure
