I'm sorry to ask. I have no other options. I lost everything. After 30 yrs of struggle, I paid off my mortgage in Nov. Dec 9th my house burned down. No homeowners ins b/c my roof (no leaks) was too old. Please help. If you can't donate, I understand. Please share. I appreciate it all.

I have lost everything. Last Monday 12/9 less than a month after paying my house off (30 years of struggling), my house burned down. I couldn't get homeowners ins. b/c my roof was "too old" If there's anyone out there who can help. I hate to ask but I have no where else to turn.

Two weeks ago I paid my house off after 30 years of struggling and it burned down Monday night. I wasn't able to purchase homeowners insurance(in FL) because my roof (that didn't leak) was over 20 years old.

I feel so alone and broken.
