Bibbidi Bobbidi What? "While Florida’s public schools are repeatedly asked to do more with less, begging parents to bring in paper towels and soap… If your homeschooled child wants to be Cinderella for a day? The state’s got that covered."

This is the first time I have seen Governor DeSantis admit, by omission, that Florida is no longer #1 in Education (we are now #22 in K-12 and behind “woke” New Jersey overall) #Florida

#Florida is seeing the budget impacts of vouchers in real time this session with dramatic cuts being proposed for AP, DE, IB, etc in public schools (which 86% of students attend) while 80% of new funding going to vouchers expansion for students who have never attended public schools. #FLVoucherSCAM

#Florida Prek-12 approps chair Sen. Burgess thinks public ed parents opposed to cut to AP, IB, AICE, DE & CTE are confused. We are not confused! Let him know we will not be gaslit while funds are diverted away from our public schools. Keep contacting legislators! floridapolitics.com/archives/731...

#SB1692's Sen McClain thinks books with nudity are harmful to minors, particularly in elementary schools and doesn't care if books like "No, David!" are permantly removed from school libraries. While Gov. DeSantis and the Florida GOP talk about eliminating local property taxes, understand this: Florida's Education Funding Program, which provides the bulk of student funding in K-12 schools, relies on local property taxes to fund 45.6% of its $28.5 Billion budget. #FundSchoolsNotSCAMS

#Florida ‘s legislative session begins March 4th. Bills could be passed and signed into law then (32 days later) but we will pay for another special session so we can deport our neighbors and employees even sooner, because, as Gov DeSantis says “Florida must lead.” She gun.

Florida's graduation rates for 23/24 are up - due to the hard work of so many educators. The Governor's press release has a typo. Under DeSantis, graduation rate has risen from 86.9% to 89.7% (an increase of 2.8%, not 19.1%). #Florida #graduation

Moms4Liberty posts misleading information so often I wrote a blog about it and vowed to post it everytime they conflated NAEP proficiency with grade level performance (not the same). Now founder Tiffany Justice has blocked me instead of reporting the truth. accountabaloney.com/m4l-continue...
