Just a reminder that Kurt Busiek's one of the best to ever do it, and if you love superhero comics, you should read the original Thunderbolts run. He got me to care about and almost cry over Erik Josten, the original Power Man and Goliath, a character who did not matter before this book.

Zemo being such a pathetic fucking loser is also what makes his growth as a character under Nicieza so great. Casting aside his father and Nazism and becoming an actual competent villain. MCU Zemo is… fine. But it really saddens me that we’ll never get to see this from him.

So are we willing to admit that Baron Zemo is one of the great comic book villains? Like, he's at least Lex tier, if not at the tippy top alongside the likes of Doom and Joker. Helmut specifically, Heinrich is an absolute nothing of a character, and only exists to make his son look cooler.
