I can see why Wendy's doesn't do all day breakfast, cuz there'd be no fucking reason to even bother with their burgers otherwise. (for reference, a Dave's single combo is $12.3)

It seems I have competition on Google Maps. While the Miku doll is cute and all, I think my use of fumos is more scientific when taking food pics, as most plushies in the lineup remain consistent with their size. The only outliers I know of are Hatate, Meiling, Momiji, Suika, and Tanned Cirno

Purchased from Fuwa Fuwa Japanese Pancakes, Kensington Shopping area, Calgary, Alberta, Canada The plate consists of a biscuit-sized pancake sliced in half, a serving of hashbrowns, two sausages, two eggs of your preferred style (poached medium in my case), and a garden salad not unlike what is served in sushi restaurants. Compared to other breakfast establishments, Fuwa Fuwa had a decently low bar to clear, and Denny's locations in Calgary are few and far between. Granted, they are typically a dessert restaurant and this is most likely their attempt at breaking new ground and while I will squint at the serving size, the sausages were packed with the right kinds and amount of flavour, making for a pleasant thing to dip in syrup if so desired or eaten by themselves. It'd probably be easier to justify the price if the pancake was bigger, or if the $3 fruit add on was included in the price

As for the flavouring uhhhh It seems like they didn't really do much with the burger besides having some amount of salt in the patty, and the slices of American they used felt fattier than McDonalds, and also less salty in comparison. The double patty certainly felt a bit larger than the Big Mac's, and the best part is that they didn't need to rely on a middle bun for filler. Other than that, i wouldn't really say it's tasteless, but rather it has a more muted flavour compared to the likes of McDonald's A&W, and Dairy Queen. At first, the lack of pickled veg didn't make much sense until I bit into the peppers they used. I can see why they didn't use the pickled carrots and radish, and why they also added pizza mozzarella to their subs. Hooooboy, I would not be able to handle whatever spices they threw in had they left out the cheese! Cross-section (read: a really chonky bite) from the sub to show the sandwich composition

A question for Canadian cosplayers: where does one shop for thigh high socks to wear during fall and early spring? Cuz I REALLY do not wanna eat tariffs

I've yet to find dropshipped socks that are just as insulated, which makes me doubt if such a thing can be acquired through dropshippers

While I've had a more positive experience with their beef burgers, Dairy Queen's crispy chicken felt like eating a brick of breading with a modest layer of overly dry chicken.
Combo meals also seem to put most of their sandwiches at diner pricing at $14.20
