And to think that I had been running away from the perspective grid for so long, I had no idea how useful it could be. Drawing and reading have been my main activities, and it's not like I can become a "better" reader, so I must be a better artist.

It took a while, but I finished it. I tried so many new things with this piece that I don't know how to feel about it. It was frustrating, fun, tiring, and very rewarding at the same time. I really need to keep drawing backgrounds.

Man, it's weird to paint without a line art, but it becomes quite fun in the middle, when you start to see the shape you want.

I've been studying how to draw backgrounds, and it's definitely hard, but it's very rewarding to see such a detailed scene in the end. I think I'm doing this after not being completely satisfied with my last drawing, I feel like it could have been so much more.
