For some reason I see that going to DS2. Maybe because it's a Kojima game and him being considered an auteur. Then again Josef Fares also kind of fits that description.

Of the six games nominated for GOTY only two of them are from major publishers. That's pretty impressive! As for Split-Fiction, at least it got nominated for a few other categories. I can see it win best multiplayer

Not to imply that the Game Awards are the end all be all of gaming awards (they aren't) but it's undeniable that people care about them.
