while learning english i did a full inmmersion (against my better judgement JDSKA) That gave me a big headache before reaching a better listening level

I call it my brain making space for it JDSKAJD

kinda want that for japanese too but if I can avoid headaches I will 😂

with english I reached a point where I can lifetime translate things to friends so I get a little frustrated to not be in the same level with japanese but I'm trying to overcome that and keep trying with things I like

I want japanese as my third language, is mainly to enjoy the things I like so I don't really care that much about politeness but more about meanings

also english is my 2nd language so some resources meanings might be harder to get into my head if it jumps straight to find a spanish equivalent maybe

to practice hiragana and katakana I'm using

also quiz like but has like levels and need to repeat certain letters x number of time to "graduate them"

I had already practiced with a japanese learning nds game but it was an amazing refreshener

all that thought in just one word. well, technically 2 because it has 2 kanjis

it's the title of lesson 1 but in the ENG game it says
"welcome to the royal academy of diavolo"

but in resume JPN one says
"Welcome to the underworld" (?) Demon world / Devildom
Makai e youkoso

I'm starting to recognize 魔界 thanks to 界 because it has easy forms I have seen before

The lower part 介 looks like a house to me and the upper part is rice field, also 田 reminds me of 口 = Mouth

Fun thing I just noticed with makai!

it isn't hell like christian hell, maybe "underworld" is more aproppiate than hell.

apparently if it was HELL hell it would be 地獄 = Jigoku
(another one I heard before)

I will probably start recognizing some by myself too while at it

for example the mouth kanji is EVERYWHERE right now
(I'm sure I will miss him after getting into different words)

but yeah, mouth and tree are already in my mind to stay

I should probably destroy the kanjis into tiny pieces in case it helps me differentiate it from other similar kanjis but I think I need to get my base knowledge to a better level first

There are things called radicals, I see them like the puzzle pieces of the big word and some give context

(all these are basically my thoughts and how my brain attacks the words, not to take as guide)

Apparently it's 魔界 = Makai (World of spirits/ Hell)
I have heard the word thanks to fantasy anime before but first time I "read" it
