Happy Birthday to Kurt Palm, the director of "In Schwimmen-Zwei-Vögel" (1997), the only feature film adaptation of Flann O'Brien's "At Swim-Two-Birds"!

Palm also directed the first German-language performance of "When the Saints Go Cycling In" (a stage adaptation of "The Dalkey Archive") in 1995.
