Yep, inevitable too

Here’s the golden opportunity to use that second amendment to defend against a tyrannical government. Or are the majority of 2A fans in favour of this shit?

I actually thought this was going to be another ICE being NAZIs video

Unreal that this is even contentious.

You could spend thousands on a holiday there, and lose it because of a social media post criticising the government. Fuck that.

Ah ok! 👍 Also, re your [citation needed] point, I went and looked into this, and my view is outdated. Latest Euro NCAP safety ratings for those small cars are now very high. They used to be v poor.

Tangentially, the bicycle has the potential to mitigate a number of societal problems, namely obesity, congestion, pollution, and those potholes. This is done successfully in places like the Netherlands, China, Copenhagen etc, but culturally seems to be a hot potato in the UK.

The bike (or at least the human powered bicycle) itself is inherently safe. Low mass, low speeds, high degree of survivability. The cheaper cars from the far east will crush like a tin can, with you in it. No thanks.

There was a paper noting how the universe is similar to the human brain. What if each brain is actually a universe? What if we haven’t identified life elsewhere because life (& specifically intelligent life) is the consciousness of that universe/brain?
And what animal does our universe belong to?

Would someone at @bylinetimes.bsky.social be interested?

Not just that, but to replace the stuff you donated, you get to stimulate your own economy, you don’t pay to dispose of the old stuff, and your troops get access to modern capabilities. It’s literally win-win, but Trump doesn’t do deals like that, he has to win, and someone else has to lose. 🍊 💩

What about the Steve Bannon one? What about the next one, and the next?

Funny I see this just when I’m starting a new project in Xcode. If my mood can be affected by social media algorithms, I clearly need to cut down and do something positive.

I still use a yahoo address that is first_last with no numbers or anything. It’s gone from being a sign of age to a point of pride.

Funny nonsense aside, if the USAF is discouraging the use of mom and dad, it’s no wonder the right are getting worked up about it. That’s bullshit.

I like how it’s timed with the washer, makes it sound like you need to plug him into his charger.

Not disgusted enough to actually turn up and vote though!
