So, am I reading this right? The Chais Dwarfs keep their sacred texts in a binder? Is it a ring binder?

@yarkshiregamer.bsky.social , they nearly mentioned you and the podcast in Wargames Illustrated.

They look like drums! Not impressed by those at all.

Are Warlord saying that Japan has only been at war for 5 years in 1947? Despite it also occupying parts of China?

#Konflikt47 #wargaming

When I do my Konflikt 1847 with the Raj vs Sikh Empire vs Afghans vs China vs Tsarist Russia, I'll probably make similar errors I suppose.

Post the same actor in two roles that show their range.

Or should I just crack on with a British-Hanoverian and a French army for now? The colours and style of the armies really appeal to me, as does the general history of the C18th.
There are some fantastic #wargaming resources out there, especially this amazing website: kronoskaf.com/syw/index.ph...

It's a tricky issue. I have decided the rules (Steel, Shot & Stone by our @battlegames.bsky.social ), I REALLY like the look of the Eureka minis, but I will chose my range/scale depending on the possibility of adding Indian and North American native troops. Still in the planning stage. #Wargaming.

If I just wanted to wargame the European theatre of the 7 Years War (Hastenbeck, Minden) the best minis look to be 18mm Eureka. But then what about North America and India? It's all a bit of a puzzle that can probably only be solved by a complex matrix in Excel and some model conversions. #wargaming

I've been giving a lot of thought of how to wargame this period, the only real issue has been where to find Indian troops - both the ones fighting against and for the British. The Battle of Plassey is probably one of those battles where the result would be wildly different every time. #wargaming

I've been reading more about the 7 Years War, this time the Indian theatre and the battle of Plassey. The campaigns at this time in India are fascinating, history changing events. Moghul India has declined, but the question is, who will take their place? (Spoiler alert, the East India Company)

To be fair, they don't look THAT different from Indian and Javan rhinos.
