Rough sketch of a vaguely Saxon looking warrior I did just now. Was aiming for a more Norman look, but it kinda evolved into a saxon (particularly the helmet). I might get decide to draw all the rings on his hauberk, but I might not as that would be kinda tedious, and I kinda like the simple look.

The Viking Conquest expansion for Mount and Blade Warband is by far and away one of the best Viking/Viking era games aver made and I will die on this hill (even though it's over a decade old).

My current autistic hyperfixation/special interest is the tabletop wargame Oathmark: Battle of the Lost Age, by Joseph A McCullough. It's a fantasy mass battle game with Elves, Humans, Dwarves, Goblins, and Orcs, and has a rather Tolkienian feel to it.
