If Cleveland was gonna lose to a team, the Cubs were the most bear-able (ha!). 😂😭

I do, about once a year, go back and watch Rajai Davis’s game-tying homer. Gives me chills every time.

“We have to move beyond the collapsed thinking…” I can quote from this sermon. It’s sooooo good!!!

Finished the book yesterday! Phenomenal! It honestly should be a template for any policymaker, business owner, academic, etc. who is serious about DEI and about closing the gaps, as you put it.

Not saying anything original here, but a lot of folks also point to the rise of conservative talk radio and Rush Limbaugh after Reagan, iirc, changed the regulations around radio broadcasting so that stations could air exclusively conservative content.

And Rey is getting a New Jedi Order movie. If they rope Oscar Isaac back into this franchise so he can explore Poe’s lineage that is ridiculously connected to Cassian, I stg.

I should note I’m worried about this because Adria Arjona, the actor for Bix, said in an interview that she has a theory about who the child is. And, Oscar Isaac is, evidently, a big fan of Andor.

Instead of every Star Wars trilogy and show trying to make all the bloodlines connect to our main characters, they’d all be writing their mentor characters to be sus as hell.

Honestly, I now wonder how this franchise might have been different if they went with the fake whammy that they leaked: that Obi-Wan killed Anakin.

I get it, Daddy Vader was one of the biggest whammies to ever be written into a film. It’s fantastic.

Star Wars, I’m begging you at this point, not everyone has to be related to each other.

I’ll probably regret this later when they actually trade him, but I think he’ll retire a Guardian. I’ve got my fingers crossed.
