It’s more of story time and a song than any sort of thesis, if that influences your decision to watch it. (I also just saw it all appear randomly in my recommended videos.)

Time 30 days per month equals 9,000. Zombies don’t need to feed everyday.

The creature from the black lagoon, or some other swamp monster, perhaps?

Or maybe just Scooby-Doo.

Just do what I do, which is at the end of the year, do a massive tier list of every piece of media you played, watched, and read. You’ll quickly discover that board game expansions and prestigious ’80s films were probably not meant to coexist on a tier list; it’s hilarious!

Weird, “a sequel so bad I felt my body physically shut down from anger at how disinterested it is in her entire arc to the point I wonder if it was written halfway through the last run” already felt like an accurate description of the 2025 run.

Just gotta play both of them at once, for twice the fun.

Well, except Mario Kart 64, if only technically.

“Beating the game” can also be seen as just a stepping stone to the act of, “getting all that you wanted to out of a game.” Maybe achieving 100% is all that you want, maybe just beating it is, or playing through it dozens of time. In most cases, you could treat beating it as just a stepping stone.

I mean, if those were names for each of them, it certainly wouldn’t be the first time a story involving celestial beings presented characters with very on-the-nose names, such as those. I hate to make the comparison to you-know-who, but just look at the names of characters in The Sandman.

Not all thoughts need to be voiced.

Those are not mutually exclusive things.

They literally just said it’s a badge of authenticity, not that’s it’s meaningless.

Actually, more signifiers to help prevent people from being scammed is a good thing.

No, him being weird and silly (and a bit of a creep) are what people love about the character. I think maybe you encountered some powerscalers.

“Why are you investigating a claim?”
April 14, 2025 at 11:26 PM
Nah, it’s been a term for quite a while. And I hear it used frequently by fans of superhero media, it’s a derogatory designation by critical fans, not as much by outright detractors.

I’m sure I’d use the phrase instead of something like “typical super hero stuff” if I didn’t abstain from vulgarity.

I’m probably rebuying Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove because of this.

At a glance, maybe people are just looking for stuff like the YouTube video How to Animate in Google Earth (like Jon Bois!).

They had a Debbie Downer sketch for the 50th anniversary special last night, so Shema certainly a bit more topical right now.

Does Season 4 not count?

Economy is another hilarious one to get late in a run. +$40, +$40, +$40…
February 10, 2025 at 1:55 PM
Just do a tier list of all the media you consumed at the end of the year. It’s like the same thing, but presented much, much worse, and based on months-old memories of movies and whatnot.

Sansa turning into a vermin is simply a representation that the curtains were just blue.
