And that turns into the two big issues we have now where on one hand people are all writing with the same “voice” because they all came from the same training ground and on the other they have a lack of personal life experience to draw from so they just write about other movies they like instead

We need a videogame adaptation of this, and then have a fanfic about somebody's OC x a canon character from the game, which gets adapted into a fan soundtrack on Youtube, which then gets turned into a film, possibly with a detour as a webcomic along the way

Unless you're in "herds of wild hog" territory, you don't need a weapon with those capabilities. Guns are tools, and I would regard a hammer with a "beat your wife" setting about as well as an assault style rifle.

But why do you need a weapon that is capable of burst fire? Like, speaking as somebody who has lived out in the country and in a pretty rough neighborhood in the city, I've never needed anything besides a long gun, and that's handled bears, packs of coyotes, rabid animals, etc.

You needed to have a thumbnail like "WIZARDS HATES THIS (people enjoying playing paper magic)" or "PLEASANT KENOBI GOES ON AN UNHINGED RANT (about people targeting him with justified removal)" or "UNIVERSES BEYOND IS RUINING MAGIC (because now people can hurt Appa)"

Depends on the boogeyman of choice- Assault rifle style guns are overwhelmingly chosen by spree shooters, whereas handguns are used in interpersonal crime. There is a case to be made "nobody needs assault rifles" but isn't exclusive with "permits/penalties for handguns should be more rigorous"

There was a UGB storm deck I built that plays out a cost reducer or two and a card draw effect on Sorcery with Archelos untapped, then uses Rampant Growth effects as mana rituals to shotgun your entire deck onto the battlefield. It's not *good*, but if you wanna kill somebody with a 40/40 beater....

(Not saying backing down was the exact right move, but avoiding starving people at Trump's behest could be spun to show their compassion and care for the little guy if Dems weren't ass at messaging)

Let's see what they do in January, that's my real measure. If they're smart, they'll work out a bipartisan deal that protects SNAP before then, and then settle in for a serious go. I'm only giving them grace because between SNAP issues and nuking the fillibuster, we were in a pretty bad spot.
