Say what you want but I will speak my truth‼️‼️ As someone who doesn’t pick up the mainline games as often as replaying the spinoffs, every time I come back here I fall in love with the chars and my goofysilly team again. Camping adds so much personality+

YT classic Sam Tsui and his team have been up to some really incredible projects, as has become clear to me with this mini-musical! My jaw dropped immediately at the openers, and stayed down thanks to the blend of genres/how each song adds a twist to its prologue.+

The definition of going from 0-100 real quick. Stakes? Incredibly high throughout the entire film, and it’s also very hard to predict how even the primary characters will fare given every new twist in the situation. My mom had to get me in on her rewatch and I thank her for that

Somehow I’d never seen anything about this even though it’s Ghibli-adjacent?? What a film to go in blind to… it emphasizes the feeling of the inevitable coming for the two young protags, watching it reach that point despite their efforts and perception of what they have to do

Old CB shows never really clicked with me - although the merch style and designs are nice, I didn’t like the animation - sooo now that it’s shifted to a more chibi style I finally bit the bullet. Digging the new energy and worldbuilding the show gives to the series!+

I got a good kick out of recognizing more of the songs beforehand, between more early 2000s tunes and classical ones. Of course Neil always finds new ways to bend them in ways no one could expect, plus a solid and atmospheric theme of sleeping

Its gameplay loop is always so addicting for me, one of the few I know inside-out, and I can’t say I didn’t get some catharsis speeding through the more grueling segments as I trained up. In between appreciating the spritework I can oneshot those Monster Houses now!!
