Its not bad. Just very go from one side of the map to the other to complete X actually had fun with it but havent finished it mainly due to my hdd issues.

Yeah! The reaplugs is a good free software based eq. So if you dont have expensive hardware i recommend it.

The eq tho will overall have more effect since it will always be active where as the noise gate will be active only when your not talking.

I technically use an eq but mine is through my mixer[goxlr]

The other thing you can do if you use obs is install the reaper vsts [reaplugs] and add a reaper eq to the mic but that takes a ton of time to set up right.

But basically you want to cut off high end noise and low end noise and keep the part where your voice is.

You can always try to add a noise gate to your mic. Via your streaming softwear. I used to have one around -45 to -50dbs to cut off low end static/humming[like fans] when i used a blue yeti microphone.
