I had two identical peak detector circuits measuring the same signal, but they were outputting different values. It turned out that one of the circuits had a double up of resistors (R608) 🙃.
Not sure how this happened.

No!!! that sucks hopefully they can fix it. I've got a Hakko FR-301. They are not cheap but they do a decent job.
