I fished reading "Gap Creek" by Robert Morgan. Oprah's number 32 book on her recommended booklist. It describes the hard life in 1899. Morgan writes to describe his ancestors daily struggles. This book will command respect for how hard past generations had to work to survive. #Oprahsbooklist

I finished reading book 31 on Oprah's recommended booklist. "A Map of the World" by Jane Hamilton is about a farming family that has to facea horrible twist of fate. We sacrifice for those we love when they need us the most. #Oprahsbookclub #JaneHamilton #booksky

I finished reading book #30 on Oprah's recommended book list. "Vinegar Hill" by A. Manette Ansay is addicting from the first page. A novel about a woman experiencing so much misery in her life, you can't help but continue reading to see what she will do about it. I read it in 2 days.

I finished reading book #29 on Oprah's recommended booklist. This novel shares some Black history in Washington, D.C. it has themes of guilt and grief. It was sad, but unmistakenly triumphant at the end. #booksky #bookreview #Oprahsbookclub #BreenaClarke
