Sweet peppers that look like hot peppers. Red ones are shishito, tastes like a cross between a pepper and a green bean (I was told to grill it). The yellow ones are a Cuban seasoning pepper called cachucha, one of my favorites. #peppers #gardening #cachucha

Ctt. Chongkolnee is a hybrid I bought as a seedling a few years ago. Hopefully in the future I can get it to give more than two flowers per spike. #orchids #gardening #flowers

Barred owls push out spotted owls...here on our little Florida farm, horned owls pushed out our barred owl family...then ate all our turkey hatchlings as soon as they were able to perch next to the hens. Thankfully the barred owls are back this year.

Alderaan the Great Pyrenees is 150 pounds, gives you an idea of how big this "dwarf" cavendish banana has grown. The flower spike is in the center, once it fruits, the main stem will be cut and fed to the animals. Each stalk fruits and dies. Pups grow to replace the mother plant. #gardening #dog
