Without algorithmic help, I find it incredibly frustrating that there seems to be only 10 other people in the entire world that share the same likes and interest that I do. Searches tend to not be overly rewarding, and when you pair that with vague user profiles… there has to be a middle ground.

I’m going to back Cuban up on this one. “Expensive” is the wrong term here though—“dated in their minds” I believe is more accurate. I think you’d be surprised how many young males rely on apps and the latest finance crazes for their savings, that’s part of why crypto is so popular.

I was surprised to notice at Target that they’ve had a section in the electronics just for Polaroid cameras. Apparently they’re a thing again.

I wouldn’t doubt they have research somewhere showing that having an enjoyable experience doesn’t make as much money for them

I quit even trying Walmart preorders years ago. Preorder only to have it cancel or never show up when Walmart themselves realize the item is hot and they can sell it for more than the preorder price. 🤬
