The spin about this clemency would be quite revealing out of Karoline Levitt’s mouth, if the White House press corps covered it and asked tough questions. But alas….

A war with Venezuela would be another broken promise. Are people getting an idea of what he is yet?

As long as he can get away with the claim that he knew nothing about it, he’s fine with releasing video of the devond strike. When you join this administration, you automatically enter the scapegoat lottery.

He’s just jealous. He thought that he had the con.

…and quietly many people will think that the oligarchs earned that right by being rich. The real trickle-down from the wealthy is misery, which can be deceptively slow because people are often convinced that they’re getting what they want even under adverse circumstances.

If consuming psychedelics won’t necessarily ruin you, the need to consume them may well show that you’re already ruined. Buck up and gird your loins, everyone. We need to survive this debacle.

Truly an extraordinary human being. An autodidact par excellence.

The Orlando-Hernandez pardon is exoneration by proxy.

…and his claim that AOC and Jasmine Crockett couldn’t have passed his cognitive test is yet another sign that something is a little amiss, as if we needed it. How are we still in this morass?
December 3, 2025 at 12:35 AM
Well, in his defense, Rubio isn’t the most scintillating speaker. Besides, Trump didn’t need to listen because he’d already told him what to say.

Is that the Aryan Christmas card photo?
December 3, 2025 at 12:19 AM
Pete, do you realize that you weren’t picked for the job because your knowledge, experience, and integrity made you eminently qualified? You were picked because you were a face on Fox, and your lack of intelligence and ethics made Trump feel secure.

Plus, when it comes to committing a possible war crime, it’s better to be safe than sorry. All these brilliant armchair commentators whose sole qualification is being chosen to sail on Trump’s ship of fools should just shut up. Wishful thinking.
December 3, 2025 at 12:01 AM
Secretary of defense Pete Hegseth is an oxymoron. By the way, in a different setting—a comedy skit, for example—Karoline Leavitt’s protestations of innocence regarding war crimes while insisting on calling the dept of defense the dept of war would be a great running gag. But none of this is funny.

Boy, the Epstein files must be really bad for war crimes to be used as a distraction. Time to walk and chew gum at the same time.

It sure is comforting to know that obesity, CVI, and a series of phony glowing medical reports fall under the heading of perfectly healthy. Is there anything in Trump’s history and in the behavior of those who attend him that elicits trust?

Apparently, the American people are now one innocent young woman safer. But who are these safer American people, and what exactly was the danger that this innocent young college student posed? Skin color and country of origin.

Whatever the punishment for sedition happens to be, it has nothing to do with opposing a president’s ideas and actions or suggesting that a president’s psychology is compromised. Those responses aren’t seditious; they’re American.
December 2, 2025 at 12:27 AM
It’s important to realize that Trump calls people stupid either because they show that his actions are stupid or because they ask questions that imply that his actions are stupid. In both cases, his response is a projection.

One of “our own” with an asterisk: To people for whom life is a series of strategic eliminations, Habba, like everone else, is expendable.

Who gets to decide which federal orders are lawful and binding? We know what MAGA thinks, but the abiding question is what does the country at large think when they hear her recite the authoritarian creed? How many of us are ignorant and/or foolishly indifferent to the obvious implications?
