Short stories for a long weekend.

Every once in a while I like to read a collection of short stories by various authors (some might even say an "anthology", but that's too big of a word for me) to see if I discover my next great author.

Who have you discovered this way and from what collection?

I'm not big on sharing books I didn't or couldn't finish. If somebody else is big on reading it, I wouldn't want to discourage them with my taste. Instead, I'll ask...

What books have you read at least twice? Here are a couple of mine...

Which book or books have you read more than once, maybe annually?

Snow days ain't what they used to be. Now they're just work from home days--something the boss insists we cannot do...unless the building is closed because of snow. Ah, 'tis a magical season! *Sigh* At least the dress code doesn't apply... :)

The heat goes out and instantly you become a prepper! You can't depend on anyone except yourself! Today's storm caught you un-ready, but you won't let THAT happen again! Then *click* the heat's back on. Oh--maybe a bit of a read and a little nap. The Grid is good! :)

Proclaiming that you're bored when I was a kid could always be hazardous on a bad weather day. The threat of chores or homework always loomed large. Such hideous suggestions! But, an important reminder that silence is golden...especially when somebody's in a mood. :)
