I forgot to explain before the transformation in the initial fight. They retain great control of elemental manipulation, and in their shock after waking, they cover their forearms with sharp ice as armour/weapons, consequently developing ice around the furs of their clothes and hair. Cool new look!

If you manage to avoid killing them, they will soon get frostbite as the modern temperatures have decreased so much that the cold tolerance they had developed centuries ago no longer protects them. This is where you'll see them with blackened extremities. Despite this, they can't die from the cold.

This fight can be quickly de escalated with lies, before they'll be open to reason. If the interaction goes particularly bad, they'll force you to kill them in a fight to the death. In that case, I've begun a series of drawings of their equipment with descriptions of their unique properties!

There are alternate timelines where their brothers find them before the snow covers them for centuries for when I don't want to be sad, but the Canon timeline is where a hypothetical player (if in a game) would unintentionally find and defrost them. What ensues is a fight as they enter hysterics.

In short, I call them the Frost Ardent. They are an ambush ranger who has specialised in the cold after having beckoning visions of tundra creatures of legend. They left their 2 brothers behind, ending up frozen by a glacier for 300 years. They must be convinced to drop hostility upon defrostation.
