Another Crop & Create class. This one is from Hero Arts.
Two new techniques to me.
Embossing with a die (the white panel), and adding wax with my fingers over the embossed image to give it a shimmer.
2nd card is a stencil and the die cut out.
Sentiments to come later....

I attended the Spring Crop & Create virtual retreat by Scrapbook & Cards Today - highly recommend. I was sick, so missed the live portion, but am slowing going through the classes on replay.
First up, Taylored Expressions. I loved this set, and want more! It's their Create in Quads line.

I made a box full of sentiments from Taylored Expressions Mini-Strips.
Probably not the best way to store these. But I thought it was a great task while I watched TV so I would have a bunch of sentiments ready to go.

The M&M shaker cards nearly broke me. I made a black backer piece, and it did not want to line up.
Tried the Taylored Expressions Mini Strips today, and first try was a fail, as the embossing powder turned clear.

I've been wanting this Jaded Blossom Gnome die for 2 years, finally bought it on sale during BF. It did not disappoint. She has some dimension!
I thought my first version was a little extra, so toned it down and like it much better.

I've been wanting this Jaded Blossom Gnome die for 2 years, finally bought it on sale during BF. It did not disappoint. She has some dimension!
I thought my first version was a little extra, so toned it down and like it much better.

And the finished birthday card, using Pink & Main dies. Wanted to keep it simple.
I am actually very happy with how it turned out... It was fairly easy, but did involve some cleanup. I may have glitter in my hair...

Mass producing Christmas cards (25!)! It was a work in progress - my first stab at it I hated - I always do a rough draft layout, and it just didn't look right to me (first pic). So a few changes with the same pieces of paper, just laid out a little differently.

Cleaning up my craft room. I have so many scraps, that I never use. So trying to make them more accessible.
I am really bad about putting things away, so the clean up process needs to be easy too.
This is just a very small fraction of what I actually have.

Next organization project complete! A place for my nested dies. Stamp N Storage magnetic sheets in an Amazon frame. Hope it stays up! I would like to put more, but I'm out of room. I may switch out the seasonal dies for my Gina K master layouts. That stocking takes up so much space!

Getting started on my Christmas cards. This is the cutest llama from Waffle Flower. And bonus Lawn Fawn twine that comes in every package from them.

Get out! I'm going to be so organized now. Picked up these two carousels from Stamp N Storage. Fits the Kallax perfectly! Now I need to dig out all my ink pads and swatch and label them. I also have about 25 more pads coming this week, all Catherine Pooler.
