I have decided the best course of action will be to get a donor EJ251 engine and rebuild it. That way I get practice and if I do a good job I can just swap it into SubaRuth. Thankfully I did manage to find a free one and will be picking it up this week! #Subaru 🌈

SubaRuth is back home w/some not great news abt repairs. But hey, how hard can it be? Boys do it!
Shops wants $17k 🙃but we're working on a college student budget (aka loans) & I will be prioritizing repairs based on the very scientific "what might kill me first" metric 1/3

She is dropped off and have a loaner Subie while she is in the shop. The new Crossover is very nice, but I miss the less techy cars. Fingers crossed they do not find anything seriously wrong with SubaRuth! #Subaru #SubieLove #SubaRuth

SubaRuth going in for the airbag recall & to be checked out. Pretty sure the tie rods or suspension is sus. REALLY hoping it is not the rear cross member sub-frame rusted out bc apparently there was a recall for that back in 2003 & the free repair it was only good for 10 yrs 😭#subaru

When I was 16 my business math class had us select a car to price out & calculate a budget for. I selected a 1999 Subaru Outback and it has been my dream car ever since. Now 25 years later I own my very first #Subaru ❤️ But SubaRuth needs a lot of work so follow me as I fix her!
