Silent Hill f...pretty disappointing if I'm being honest. I think r07 did create a great narrative but when he passed off the story to the developers they had no idea how to translate it well enough to warrant the amount of playthroughs you need to get the real story.

At long last my Higurashi is over. Really glad I was able to pick it up again after bouncing from it years ago. Had a blast reading it, the first half was extremely effective setting up the stage and the second half really re-contextualizes everything that came before it

It's looking like I won't be able to finish Higurashi before SHf but higu is just kinda crazy so it's not all bad. I don't think SHf will reach these heights but still pretty reassuring the first mainline SH game is in R07's hands
