It's still WIP of PAYCHECK and I have yet to figure out how to make this into either a printable or carve-able model.
But I am very satisfyied with the lifting-body look and the old-school sci-fi feel of this old cargo hauler repurposed as the mobile base for a LANCER wing:
Black on white views of an old-school futuristic cargo hauler, shaped like a lifting-body. It has the shape of a broad, flattened body rather than a narrow ship. It is much wider than it is tall, with a long length and a low overall profile. The front narrows gradually into a blunt wedge, while the rear remains wide and heavy, giving a sense that most of the mass sits toward the back. The underside is smoothly curved, forming a single continuous surface, while the top is flatter, with a small raised section near the front for the cockpit. There are no wings or protruding engines; all major systems are built into the body itself. The overall impression is of a solid, heavy industrial vehicle designed to lift and carry weight, not to look elegant or fast.
