Just looking for a new place to share my art.

Please leave supportive comments, life is difficult right now
I think it's meant to be taken in context as part of a conversation with previously included facts about climate change that have since been ignored. " ok you don't believe my scientifically proven and tested facts? Can you understand this at least?" An appeal to logic rather than appeal to facts?

Birdflue started in wildlife. We were tracking an increase in it over the last few years. Wildlife offten comes into contact with livestock pets and people. I've been doing this for 10 years. It's common sense. There was no lab. Immigrants didn't bring it here. It's basic epidemiology

If Republicans cared about birdflue they wouldn't have cut wildlife rehabilitation funding or left the WHO. We were tracking it and trying to warn people for months before the first livestock and humans got sick but no one listened bc " wildlife rescue is woke" it has nothing to do with immigration

I don't have money or influence to do much else other than go to protests, share information, and educate people. But volunteer work helps me feel sane.

It also can help to pick an issue you know you can do something about. Trump cut funds to wildlife rescue and rehab, i volunteer at one so we stay open and educate people about why it's not a waste. We prevent disease, protect the environment, and endangered species like bats which are vital for us!

You can imagine how releasing him into the wild would be a bad idea. He'd see someone with a garden hose and run up to play! They'd think he had rabbies. He loves humans and would not successfully kill mice enough to be released. He's happy at the zoo and has a girlfriend now!
