I said the study in orange continues, but it looks like I hadn’t posted the start of said orange fixation. (Mohair/silk warp bamboo weft on one, cotton warp, bamboo weft on the other.) #weaving

My study in orange continues. Tencel warp, mohair/silk warp. The warp has a bit of sparkle, which is fun. (The orange mania inspired by The Life of a Showgirl.🙂)

My (adult) son asked me to make a WaLuigi hat for him for Halloween. I wove the fabric, and gave it a shot. It was a fun project once I looked up WaLuigi!

In Little Looms there was a vest that just basically had you sew ends to sides. I’ll look for the issue and title later! Not great pictures, but maybe the darker one gives some hints.(Same item, just suspect photography skills!)

I have some yardage to make a jacket. I’m totally intimidated! It’s been done for months! First step, no cutting wearables! (Vest type things from a long piece of fabric!) After the poncho, I’m going to try that jacket!

And I did make this one in the past few weeks. Not perfect, but a start!

I try to do some fiber/weaving activity daily. I love it. Of course, having a day job sometimes limits my availability! (But it does allow me the funds to have all of my crafting needs!) I’m currently working on what I think will become a poncho.

It’s my first day here. I’m interested in our country, and how it can be saved, weaving, fiber arts, glass art, and New England sports. And people. I’m interested in people too.
