@davidrudin.com thoroughly professional, heist edition. (Hell and High Water is a western neo-noir; I’ll hear arguments on Ocean’s 8; The Town had its moments; I’m not a huge F&F person; I refuse to name Baby Driver just for its opening 4 minutes; and Den of Thieves….nah.) Any other suggestions?

Also: if you open with harshly criticizing an experienced trial judge for adhering to conventional wisdom, based on a putative countervailing literature that you don’t cite—then or later—asserting that academic discourse norms entitle you to polite responses rather than brickbats is a bit precious.
