25a is mostly very smart students with zero proof experience (thanks US high schools!) so you're starting with proving bijections from [n] to [m] when n=m etc

I am not referring to 55, the median math major takes 25a/b (proofs lin alg + real analysis) and starts groups soph fall

Not true at Harvard or MIT, from this doesn't look true for Princeton [MAT(210)-215-217: Recommended for math majors]

I think the standard math major at American T10 school does lin alg -> real analysis -> groups etc, multi is aimed at a different group

bikeshare pricing uses the German transit fare system (any semi-frequent rider should unquestionably get annual pass), but that's a good system!

That’s the Boston/SF strategy and it doesn’t work, you also need some HS segregation (and a LARGE district so the merit schools don’t cream-skim too hard)
