Then-senator Biden also sought but failed to deny all search, rescue and resettlement of Indochinese refugees -- "Not One Nickel". It remains to be seen whether Biden will help China by using the same denial-of-aid to Taiwan.

Interesting Point ref Fishwrap: This is almost exactly the same strategy Biden and several legislator-allies used to deny all aid and force the surrender of both Cambodia and Vietnam. By 1975, all U.S. aid, participation and military advice was barred by Biden-sponsored legislation.
