I believe others can see the tree rating which I choose to leave public. And this flaw skews that negatively and may make others lack trust in my research and tree generally. I have already uploaded a photo.

Counting living relatives in the analysis is not appropriate. They should be known and able to confirm details. It skews the error % of any similar tree. Whereas no sources for more distant relatives is a problem and should be flagged. Ancestry needs to exclude the 'living' for tree accuracy.

Yes, as a baby born in 2024 there are no sources to attach unless his parents send me a copy of his birth certificate. But surely the system should understand that the living son of my living son is not likely to be an 'error' through lack of proof! So perhaps their criteria needs a bit if tweaking.
