I used to respect you. Comparing McDonalds and In-N-Out (*sp) is blasphemous.

I think you are right.

In 2019 Martina was staying at the same Melbourne hotel as we were when we were there for the Australian Open. I made it a point to thank her for her support of the LGBTQ community. Little did I know at the time that TQ didn’t have support from her.

I just sent a message to a friend saying, “The only thing I agree with …”

What fence? Just read it!

But get home before those barstools start emptying.

Do it again and you probably will have the pacer guy to help you see your improvement

Note my emphasis on “younger years.” I lived in Luxembourg for part of 1993 and 1996, and in 96 and a few years after I rode with a club that went on an Alps trip. Rode Galibier, Alpe D’Huez, Croix de Fer, Glandon (sort of), Col d’Izoard, Col d’Agnel, and others. What a great opportunity.

I had the chance to do the real thing a few times in my younger years. One time I felt like a dog at the bottom and could barely hang with my fellow riders. I lowered my head in defeat and then noticed I was in my big chain ring. Oops! It got better after that!

I think the Zwift version is cool.

Yeah, the Talansky thing was sad.

We have a Roomba, I’m fine with it although we do a 💩 check before running it. My partner though dry mops the floor before running the Roomba. What’s the point of the Roomba then?!?

… and I had to turn the game off with 5.9 sec left to meet a friend for dinner. Didn’t want to keep him waiting and you can never be sure with LA traffic. I agree, the Final Four was medicinal.

It’s going to be a bumpy road ahead, that’s for sure. Our white / asian, American / Japanese, gay, cis male household is worried. We will take all the help we can get from all the allies everywhere, although our risk is lower than others. Still, we worry about visa status getting messed up.

A correction - I have an FM and an FE2. Also, my brother is a photographer and asked him for any shop recommendations. He did most his work in NYC though so may not have a Boston shop.
January 17, 2025 at 7:02 PM
I took mine in to Samy’s for that. They are fresh and unused.
January 17, 2025 at 5:06 AM
I still have my FE and FM2. I just can’t part with them. But that’s a really pretty camera.

Boeing, Amazon, SpaceX, Blue Origin. There’s a lot of aerospace in greater Seattle. Yes, Amazon has a $10B satellite constellation they are building.

I think I got to Crest via Hawthorne and just kept following until the end. Of course I know the typical Crest Road E to the domes. I don’t ride PV these days but there are some great roads for sure.

St. John Fisher is on that road. I accidentally stumbled across it as well. Takes you to the other side of the radomes, right?
January 13, 2025 at 5:05 AM
Have you already been to Paris or been to Rome?
