Who gets to make these decisions and who benefits?Automating away jobs doesn't automatically grant any of those things. Without a fight, all those productivity gains go strictly towards additional profit for those already at the top.

Having to unlock your phone to show your ID is terrible from a security perspective. Sure, you don't have to hand them your phone, but will everyone know that every time? Will that stop a cop from demanding it anyway and assuming you don't know better?
