2. We need to move big appropriations bills that restore spending with strong guardrails to curtail Trump/Vought mischief. Boring but very real.

I’ve never seen so many photos where the photographer and the gun are in each others sights like this. It’s awful. Yes, the eyes of the gunmen look like they aren’t thinking straight enough to make any kind of big decision

I was struck by lightning. Can confirm.

(ps hey 18-year-old me digging the storm from under the tree, use your WHOLE brain not just the fun parts?)

I didn't know what a Gimlet was, either, til I ordered it. This is how I'm learning. I'm 61. I live in wine country, so until here lately I was not drinking hard alcohol ever

I've always wondered! I messed up the other night and ordered a Gimlet, which was lovely but was not at all the Gibson I meant to ask for

How do you make your martinis at home? Vodka or Gin? I love drinking them when I go out, but I just swig outta the Gin bottle at home.

“They have a lot of bad ideas. They don’t know what they’re talking about. But they have a lot of money, and they can make people move in their direction solely based on that.”

They sound like they know, but they don’t. The money answers lots of the questions ppl don’t ask.

Though Trump’s pardons can’t extend to state crimes, I think it’s worth pointing out the message being conveyed:

Trump’s allies are alleged to have stolen data from state voting systems in an effort to help him overturn an election he lost.

Now he’s pardoning them for it.

News coverage of this has focused on the pardon of those involved in the fake electors plot.

But the pardon also extends to key figures who participated in the unauthorized breach of voting systems in Coffee County, Georgia

My reporting on the breach: www.lawfaremedia.org/article/what...

As long as he wins, which he won’t

He just took credit for people fucking at cons—and not really that many, compared to 1990s desktop publishing conferences. These are a month long. Weirdos.
I'm listening carefully. He talks about Cloverdale.

I'd love to know. The meeting with the City is Wednesday. www.cloverdale.net/AgendaCenter... I will speak in public comments if I know what I'm talking about. I follow your work, but not as closely as I should.

I'm really looking forward to the book, too!

Thanks a million. I'll share this with CloDems for sure. Our local Indivisible has been sending vague warnings, but this is a solid view of a future of which I personally want no part
