Most of y'all that follow me probably know me through photography or GDQ things but I'm also pretty involved in the competitive nerf scene!
Anyways, super happy with how my SLB2.0 came out! It's the first blaster I've put an extended amount of time into AMSing. Still needs some tuning work though 😅

Obs can't skip over The Megas concert! Used to cover concerts in college when artists would come through for student life. Was fun to do that again! As a drummer myself I am disappointed I didn't get many cool shots of the drummer 😭 best part of cool concert lighting is you don't have to edit much!

some "whoops!" shots :
1+2) I was trying to get a shot of Bryonato running to the stage but my settings were off and ended up getting a cool shot of Motoss instead
3) This was a "take the photo and get out" moment in combo with forgetting how wide 12mm is and getting the pole in the shot

During the finale I was trying to scout out different angles if/when any milestones got met. I was doing some test shots and ended up with this shot of Shayy looking up and the total and I really wish i had focused on them instead of the numbers. Def watch to flesh this one out more for next event

The arcade! there isn't too much variety in regards to composition event to event but most of the fun in these photos is the editing and pushing the cyberpunk-y feel

Already kinda touched on this with beat saber but there are so many different kinds of runs now. it's tough getting shots of all the runners (if you ever see a side profile shot of multiple runners from me, it's most likely focus stacked 👀 )

Had an SD card die at the end of the backyard baseball run 😭. Throughout my ~10 years of doing "pro" photo/video it was the first time that's happened to me. Lesson learned, shoot to both memory cards. The card was in my a7iii+70-200 so I lost a bunch of close up reactions, left with just wides

I tried getting out in the crowd more this event for reaction shots which, for the most part, worked out. The crowd reactions are a bit more prominent than taking shots from the stage. Might have to work out how to take more of these shots in the future!

One of the biggest "issues" the photo team had this event was trying to cover all of the on site activities. I kinda of see it as a good problem to have since the event is growing but it also means we missed a lot of things as well. Too bad we can't be in two places at the same time 🥲
