Try not to fall in the trap of tutorial hell where you think you never ready enough to start a project. start making mistakes and as you go you learn and fix and improve what you already build

Every time I learn something new to add to my game it feels me with excitment and motivation to keep going

Anothet good place to learn everything about game design is the channel Game Makers Toolkit hosted by Mark Brown!

Bro, just start making stuff, anything that gets you excited! It doesnt have to be perfect and it wont be, but I belive this is the best way to learn something, learn each step at a time! For example I just learned how to make a health bar 😂

Also, read the Scott Rogers book, its a great start!

Its been one year since I started my project, Ive been making small progress because I had to get a job, so I develop a couple of hours per day when I can

Im very excited about this project, but it feels like its never ending 😂

The idea behind this enemy is to expose the battery of it to be able to defeat it, otherwise it only gets stunned for a short time. Still need to implement some sort of light to show to the player its current status (Patrol, Pursuing and Stunned).

and yes, I've been learning all at the same time which is a bit overwhelming but if you learn the basics, you can learn the rest by yourself by testing stuff and being curious, the learning never ends 😅

Hey, thanks for the comment! Actually, all the programming of my game is being made using Unity's visual scripting! I just learned the basics of VS on Unity Learn and started from there
