My aunt used to read this to me when I was little. I think it was that version too from what I remember.

Great choice. I was really captivated by this series when it came out.

I'll finish it but the story layout in the book doesn't seem as epic as the movie.

It's well written, has more background than the movie, and well written horrific scenes. It's the first story where I've liked the movie more than the book and I feel bad about it.

Currently reading the 3rd book from the shades of magic series. It's quite fun. I love Schwab's writing and the characters are great.

This cycle is the reason why I have 4 unfinished books and nothing published yet.

My site is on squarespace. My first blog is quite long so I wanted to add a table of contents but there is no automatic way to do it so you have to add code blocks at each header you want to add to the TOC.
