Made another one for Kid, who loves spiders. Where & when we camp, we often see horny tarantulas on walk abouts, cruising; other campmates are frightened, so we're the ones rescuing them in our soup bowls & scooting them to safety. Seemed apropos to make a spider sticker.

A campmate asked me to design some stickers. Just this morning I realised that if I had a button maker, I could make these into buttons. Which seems awfully obvious for an epiphany, but I am just a budget philosopher, so here we are.

I'd rather stay home & pull out my watercolours to paint skies & fires, but instead I must go to work today specifically to protect the well-being of a student whose gen-ed teacher doesn't understand IEP compliance OR how her own biases/bigotry impacts her ability to teach.

I thought the student that I was working with today’s dysgraphia created really interesting glyphs. (They were saying the correct number names out loud, the formation of them is all the student struggles with.)

Cleaned the garage, moved in the new washer/dryer & hooked up the washer (dryer required an adapter). Painted this cheap dollar store cut out with decent quality acrylics to look like Whitten. Smeared some black paint sharpening up the outline, but saved it well enough.

We watched Bird for a bit both yesterday and today so Mama could get some work done. Yesterday we went swimming, today we did painting. It was a very nice weekend…I just wish it was one more day.

I had Bird for a bit this morning because Momma had an early work thing, so after stopping for a “coffee treat” and arriving here, we had oatmeal w/ fresh berries, and painted - then got into school clothing and headed in! Ultimately she declared it the best morning ever!

Preface: 1a) I'm normally pretty anti-ridiculing appearance, 1b) particularly penis size as that often is adjacent to transphobia, and 2) South Park's humour and my own don't often intersect much.
That said, completely taking the piss out of a company that just paid you $1.5b is CRAZY work.
