i gave the King Zydeco 2 a good test. a 25mi spin around the Canaan Loop in Davis, WV. starts with chunky ATV 2 track and turns into smooth, fast gravel.
the Zydeco 2 was up for it all. capable and predictable on the chunk, fast and reactive on the pedaly bits.
increasingly stoked on this bike!

fitted with a Bosch SX drive-unit, 55Nm of power, and a 400Wh battery, the the SL⚡AM was efficient yet punchy enough to make the short climbs easy. i kept in eco mode on climbs and off on descents and flow, & could have gotten another 3 hours out of the battery life.

with 160mm front & 150 rear dw-link suspension, the SL⚡AM flattened descents, crushed tech, and pedaled incredibly efficiently. at just 40#, it doesn't feel like a monster on the trail. felt light, nimble, and agile.
