Okay, I understand that students can use their phones outside of school. I also understand that students have protected rights to free expression even when at school. But you are failing to connect the dots here between those rights to make the case that use of phones within schools is protected.

I'm not a lawyer but I have read the first amendment and this sounds like the dumbest take ever. Pretty sure it doesn't mention phones. Since when did kids have free speech in schools anyway?
