Yeah I’m not skilled enough to read my physical book while driving, but I still wanna read lol. I deny it’s cheating, if only because audio books slow down the book enough that I can understand it. I tend to read faster than I can look… weird way to say it but it true.

I would argue it’s not reading based on original definition.

However, I WOULD say that experiencing a book through an audio format is the same as experiencing it in a word form. Audio books are not derivative of the medium. They are how many got into reading to being with. Thanks parents!
