It worried me when friends demonstrating at the 1996 Republican Nat'l. Convention (yes, I'm old) were cordoned off from the press and other traffic in a sort of "demonstration ghetto." It has gotten so bad now that people accept it as normal.

I recall that, years ago, we could go to avant garde live theatre for fifteen dollars. I can barely afford to see movies in a theatre now. People NEED creativity and inspiration!
