I do the same thing! My birthday was Saturday, 8/9. This is me at 51!

There is no one that Trump won’t betray. Oaths and relationships with allies — and relationships in general, mean nothing to him. He’s purely transactional, and the moment you’re no longer useful to him, you’re discarded.

I agree. It was a much bigger turnout than Hands Off. Thanks for showing up today for are country and community. It takes all of us!

My mom went with me to the No King’s protest in Sacramento today. I’m 50. She’s 81, a Vietnam-era, Air Force nurse. This was her first protest, and we had a blast!

This is very true. I was torn between saying “on the basketball court” or “at drag shows.” I settled on chess boards. 😊

Thank you so much for sharing this! These concrete tips encourage me to look for opportunities to engage with my community, rather than wallowing in helplessness. I’ve saved the guide and am sharing it!

Oh honey….bless your heart! You don’t have the slightest understanding of lies vs. truth , Mr. Trump.

I agree. Trump is a threat to the whole world. We all need hope, and it can be found in unlikely places. The Catholic Church still needs to own its terribly sinful past and present, but this election of Pope Leo XIV also refreshes the heart as he continues the legacy of Pope Francis in his own way.

Actually, I wonder if the contrast between Pope Leo XIV and the evil that is Trump, might spur a reckoning among those who aren’t MAGA cultists. Today is a good day, and America needs all the help it can get!

Thank you Wisconsin, for soundly rejecting Elon Musk’s naked attempt to buy a state Supreme Court seat. The amount of money flooding that election was obscene, and should be an affront to all Americans. Thank you for protecting your judiciary!

These are fascinating topics, and I’m heartened to know that you’re teaching our future scientists the art of research and reviews. Thank you so much for your work and expertise!

I’m just as guilty. I do the 5 calls activities and have been to a number of peaceful protests, but it feels like too little. I’ve been directing my energy to local mutual aid groups which is so important for community organizing. That’s helped me feel more plugged in locally. I wish you well! 😊

🤣💀🤣

The “ice skating” one had me cackling! Thank you for the much needed laughs!

It galls me to think about, but I think we have to be clear about who is really running things. They might as well just shank Trump and get it over with. It’s only a matter of time.
February 26, 2025 at 8:44 PM
That’s because he is. Disgusting!

Thank you so much for reminding us how important a critical reading of news and opinion sources are —- and for going through a systematic process for doing so!

I have a Bingo (tortie) and a Xenia (orange). They get me through each day!

I’m so sorry the UK is caught up in this as well. We humans sure know how to delude ourselves, don’t we? Cheers from across the pond to you and yours! I hope you have a good day!

This is one of America’s greatest weaknesses. Hubris. We didn’t think authoritarian rule would ever *really* happen here because of our relative geographic isolation and our so-called “American Exceptionalism.”
