Animals (and insects) are sentient beings, so yes, they feel, have emotions, can suffer, can have joy, play, think, and more, and although will have differing levels of intelligence, they are nonetheless intelligent. Dolphines forvexample are incredibly intelligent, chinchillas are intelligent, etc.

This would not pass with the usual suspects, no matter the amount of evidence there is, in fact all evidence that shows humans are not omnivores but opportunistic omnivores (i.e would scavenge meat in times of absolute need) but primarily plant based mammals. Humans digestive system shows this.

I couldn't care less about animal farmers tbh, but no doubt they'll still be treated far far better than anti-genocide pro-peace protestors who have been abused, assaulted & violently arrested for holding signs & better treated than animal rights protestors. Anyway, most farmers will not be affected

Unfortunately, there's too many who simply don't care about the costs of animal exploitation/slaughter (e.g. lives, environmental, climatic, etc.), those who believe the meat & dairy propaganda, & those who refuse to educate themselves or see the logic of eating the crops 1st, rather than 2nd hand

I reckon that's an under estimation tbh still, it's not only a potential massive reduction in camcer cases, but also heart disease (heart failure), obesity, diabetes, COPD, stroke, cognitive decline, inflammation related conditions & depression (studies show links). Imagine how much could be saved

And yes, I know the facts in relation to the research studies, literally what I have used for research studies and papers I wrote up. If you have mot eaten meat or dairy for a ling time, it can negatively impact you, and not just mentally.

It does make a difference, especially when meat and dairy make you physical ill. I have decades of first hand experience with many hospital admissions, far more than the average, and the available food does make a huge difference to health and recovery.
